Which led us all to believe Obito is defeated finally! You think the 2nd Juubi Jin will go out so easily? In the past, when Madara used the black rods to take control of Obito, we all thought it was the end of Obito and we believed Obito was taken out by a simple Raikiri infused kunai. I was laughing after reading all the rage threads. The base went insane! XD And, bam! He became the Juubi Jin. And then came the unexpected Shinju chapter which was brilliant and one of the darkest chapters of Naruto! Coming to the point, I believe Obito will start the Infinite Tsukuyomi. If IT is not casted, it will be a disappointment, as it is hyped to the core. I know it will happen. Kishi is a big time troll. DAT Kishi! XD:x3:

Agree. Obito's a huge troll, especially when he's seemingly about to die (see 636-637). Plus, he can regenerate (he regenerated from destroying half his body in 640 and he also regenerated in 643). Not to mention he hyped the Sword of Nunoboko, so I'm pretty sure we're gonna see him using it. I'm pretty sure Obito isn't finished. He's certainly much more likely to survive this than he was to survive what happened in 636.

With that analogy in mind, he's never going to be defeated. Time to let go son.

So many people are getting upset that obito was taken down so easily. It was a quick attack to end it but we are now going to hear a lot of back story as to why.

Obito just stated the sword has the feelings of the So6P within. It is likely that it was his will that it broke so he could be defeated and let the new generation take over. It is not that Kishi suddenly just made naruto more powerful than obito with no reason.

Additionally, we have no idea why kakashi was suddenly linked to Obito and why he started having fantasties of becoming hokage.

Wait for the follow up explanations before you start passing judgements on it being a cheap cop out. Plus there is still Madara to contend with and he has a plan to become more powerful and successful than Obito.

I think you on to something but not quite there. If that sword was the will of the SO6P the reason why it broke was because Naruto and Sasuke are the reincarnation of the sage. So their will especially Naruto's will broke it and showed Obito a path that would've happened if he didn't turn evil and went back to the village.

Heres what I think when he started seeing himself as the hokage and having a group of friends.

The first thing I noticed is Kakashi was right next to him in his Hokage imaginatory world. Kakashi realized he was linked to him and waited for the right moment to test out a dangerous theory. Kakashi was the one who imagined Obito in an alternate roll as hokage and having a large group of friends supporting him, thinking that Obito would see the image of himself in Hokage wardrobe. Kakashi did this to distract him enough to create an opening for Naruto and Sasuke to land their attack. Isnt it ironic that the started imagining right as the attack was occuring? I think its pretty obvious thats what occured since they showed Kakashi was able to see and hear what Obito was seeing and hearing. That was the whole point of those panels with Kakashi in Obito-land. I would call this a theory but I pretty sure its truth.

Actually Im going to create a thread to see what peoples take on this is. lol.
