Did Obito ever care about the Akatsuki?

did obito ever care for them?, did he consider them friends?,or do you think it was just all about rin and infinite tsukyomi? i mean he did stay with them for year's, so he must have some feelings towards them.

As the way he is now, i wonder if he will ever mention them, because we all know, down the line i think obito will have some tear-jerking speech, before Naruto is over, i wouldn't mind having flashbacks about the Akatsuki and some of the things they did, while they weren't on mission's and they were just in their hideout.

He respected the members. He also stated that for some of them- like Itachi as well as for Kisame. Though, for some others it doesn't seem like this was the case, like for Nagato- he referred to him as a pawn that he manipulated and a fool.

In short: He cared mainly about Rin and IT, but he respected a few members, while others he didn't give a care about.

He cared for Nagato and Konan and Kisame as he wasnt even planning to use Nagato to revive Madara and he said that he would hope to bring the 3 together in IT (filler but its probably his true feelings). He said Kisame is the closest one to him and Kisame was loyal to him until his death.

EDIT: No he let Deidara be sacrificed maybe because he was too cocky and pissed him off when he was acting

i think so in a twisted way. he wanted nagato yahiko and konan to be together again, but allowed for yahikos death. kisame wanted a world where he didnt have to kill his comrades and obito used that wish and promised him that. and deidara.... nope he picked on him and didnt care after he was edo'd.

This pretty much. He actually trolled Deidara during their fight with Sasuke (when he pretended to be in danger and forced Deidara to not detonate the bombs).
