Did obito care about shikaku and inoichi

the reason i ask this is because when they died obito had his eyes closed,that led me to believe that maybe it was madara who made the jubi destroy hq where shikaku and inoichi were and i get the feeling that obito didn't want them to be targeted so saying this i'm getting the feeling that obito might turn against madara and team up with the alliance and if obito knows madaras abilities maybe obito can help the alliance defeat madara or at least come up with a counter to his abilities.

obito has been an antagonist for the last several arcs. pretty much throught all of shippuden. If he turns good i will never read this manga again. We need atleast one honest bad guy that cant be swayed with an impressive moral speech

It's possible Obito has done all this to create a better world for Rin and Kakashi, and he knew Madara was lying but simply didn't care. Notice he said to Kakashi "you let Rin die" not "You killed Rin". Sort of implies he knows the truth. Perhaps he's waiting for the right moment to ruin Madara's plan and seal/kill him along with the Juubi.

It'd explain his words like "Tobi is a good boy". The dark personality we've seen of Obito might simply be the Spiral Zetsu, and not the old Obito. The goofy version of Tobi might not have been an act but rather the real Obito fighting inside Tobi's mind.

yeah, in the previous chapter or two, Shikaku said that he had no time to be surprised that it was actually Obito. So, what you are saying, it is possible that they knew each other and that it wasn't Obito's intention to target the HQ.
