Did Nidaime(2nd) died at that time in the latest Episode?

Do you think that 2nd hokage died at the time when he said that Hiruzun will be hokage tommorow?

I don't think so bcuz after PAIN attacked the village the nomination of a new hokage was to be done and when Kakashi was nominated one of the person there said that 4th hokage was even younger than kakashi when he was made Hokage, if hiruzen was made hokage at that time then the 3rd hokage should have been given as the example as the youngest hokage as he was just a kid then. Therefore he wasn't made Hokage at that time so @nd hokage was still at Hokage position and not dead.

What do you all think?

It's confirmed he died there. Hiruzen was already in his 20's when he became Hokage (as you can see in that flashback).

what flashback? if you are talking about the flashback of episode 211 then i think you should again take a good look at that episode he was shown younger than naruto

they said yondaime was younger becoz one of the peson said kakashi is too yopung..it has nothing to do with hu became the youngest hokage..bt..hiruzen was younger than fourth wen he became hokage..

does this even matter?? I know the manga is slow to be released, and I know we get the story in very small 17-19 pages parts, but we can not just talk about something ridicously because we want to kill time. Can't we keep the standard higher??

This thread is ok, but there is so many bad threads because people want to predict the story. And yes the Manga is very slow. 17 pages a week is very little

The way of appointing hokage changed after Hiruzen was made hokage. He acted as hokage for many years unlike the other hokages.

I dunno really. In that scene, he said he pursuit ninja trailing his team were the highly skilled kinkaku unit. During kin-Gin arch in the manga, Tsunade said she knew that the kin-gin bro's left the second hokage on the verge of death. Let me add that I dont think Hiruzen was hokage when he took jiraiya, tsunade and orochimaru as his students. so my guess is the nidaime died at a later date.
