Did Naruto always have Hagoromo as a guardian angel?

What I'm asking is if Naruto almost ever died at any time in his life, would Hagoromo have saved him then? For example, when he was about to die against Kabuto, if Naruto died then, would the sage have brought him back to life? Or if masked Obito successfully stabbed baby Naruto, would the sage have brought him back to life then as well?

Nope. Kabuto nearly killed him to the point where not even Kurama could save him, so you would think Hagoromo would have made an appearence.

And like others have pointed out, it was really Obito/Yin Kurama who saved him.
