Did Naruto actually meet his parents inside his mind or did he just meet clones?

I'm sorry, but I'm very confused! When Minato showed up at the battlefield at Naruto's side, it indicated that he knew everything his chakra imprint talked about with Naruto inside his subconscious. The same thing occurred in the most recent chapter when Minato was saying to himself about Kushina "Have you already met him?". It is almost as if Naruto's parents were speaking to Naruto through their chakra imprints from the afterlife. In analogy: It seems like Nagato and the pains and how he talked to Naruto through his Paths of Pain. That being said, did Naruto meet his parents or just the clones?

You divide your consciousness in seals and are basically in two places at the same time. You could call it clone that has a shared vision like Rinnegan.

EDIT: Oh, now I get what you are talking about when comparing it to Orochimaru's curse mark. Although he died, a part of his conscious was inside Anko's curse mark and intern began to inhabit the curse mark as well. Correct me if I'm wrong. That's what it said in the manga.

Ok, the first two don't make sense and are out of the question either way because not even Naruto saw Sakura when he was battling pain. Naruto saw Hinata and therefore so did Minato.

Secondly, as I recall in the last few chapters that have showed Naruto battling the Ten-Tails and Obito, he has been battling alongside Sasuke and the only time he has used the Rasenshuriken is when he and Sasuke combined it with Amaterasu creating a new jutsu in the process. So how can Minato recognize that?

I am not bashing your comment, but I do believe that you have a vague memory of the previous arcs, given what you pointed out.

EDIT: Ok, I partially take the last sentence of my reply back. Just take a look at the Pain Arc again or read the Wiki about it and look at the previous chapters of the Ten-Tails Revival Arc and you will know what I'm talking about. Hopefully I will get more replies on this thread because I would like to hear other people's opinions on this.
