Except for...

1. Chiyo didn't kill the person she saved... So it was self sacrifice compared to redemption.

2. Chiyo was an outdated shinobi compared to the still middle aged Nagato.

3. Chiyo didn't have the Rinnegan's haaxed power.


I'd say if anything, Chiyo's was more noble.

Difference between chiyo and nagato is that nagato is an uzamaki(longevity).

if nagato died right after 1 or 2 people for rinne tensei, then it would be a pathetic uzamaki trait on nagato's part.

Rinne Tensei doesn't actually kill the person. But when Nagato used Rinne Tensei he died because of extreme Chakra exhaustion. Same concept with Kakashi.
