Did Nagato know he himself was an Uzumaki?

Why didnt he say anything to naruto?
Like hey, uzumaki naruto, i am an uzumaki as well, uzumaki nagato.

Naruto called himself uzumaki naruto in front of nagato.
I just find it odd, that nagato didnt say anything about them both being uzumaki.

I honestly doubt that he did.
The survivors of the Uzumaki clan scattered around Narutoverse and they must have hid their identities whilst doing so. Nagato's parents disguised themselves as regular Amegakure citizens as far as we know.
Still either way, it really doesn't change anything. :shrug:
