Did Minato need Km?

I mean I dont see the point in making him a perfect jin, if he is still basically the same.

I didnt see any bijudama from him. Just rasengans and one case of him using chakra arms

Honestly he didnt really do anything special with it. He still used his FTG like in his regular form. Also rasengan.

I remember he only used his chakra arms with it once. He was the fastest ninja in the series without it, so what was the big difference?

Ftg wasnt enhanced or anything. He didnt use any TBBs.

Edo Minato stats are all lower than alive Minato. Minato didn't really use KM's power as much as he just did it to do it at first. KM drastically increase your speed but Minato never used that speed which would increase his already fast speed. Naruto actually trained to use his KM abilities, though it was incomplete training that he improved in battle. Only thing Minato had knowledge on is tbb since he copied the process to make Rasengan plus Kurama helps both Naruto and Minato with it either way.

He used a tailed beast bomb, chakra arms, chakra tails and a giant rasengan. Also without it, minato couldn't have synced his chakra with Narutos and would've been unable to teleport the alliance out of the barrier.

And don't forget that Naruto wasn't using KCM expertly or BM straight away from the start. At first his body flicker was lousy, he had the speed but his control was awful to the point that he injured his own foot. Bee had to train Naruto in control and strength and how to use the tailed beast bomb. Naruto wasn't just super perfect as soon as he gained his mew powers. Minato didn't get any practice, he was learning as he went along. What's funny is that if minato was able to do all those things without prior training like Naruto, you would've called it a bigger asspull.

No. Minato is a genius. I dont expect anything less from him. Its just it came out of nowhere and he didnt need it since he used the same techs he used in base.
