Did Minato know about the bijuu mode all along?

I mean damn he brought out the bijuu mode like he already knew how to control kyuubi's chakra. What a cheater! LOL! but damn now that he has bijuu mode is it safe to say Minato>>Itachi?? no im not a minato fan boy cuz minato and itachi are my all time fav's.

But when the f*ck did he learn it... he didn't have time to "tame" the kyuubi before he died, not really plausible to do it while dead and most certainly not after his resurrection...
I find it to be a hole in the plot even though it could prove to be fun to see him fight whith it

I don't think he could possibly have known especially since he wasn't a Jinjuriki until death...and only a partial chakra holder.

I'd say as of now, this version of Minato probably beats Itachi. And neither Itachi or Minato are in my favs list....though I like both of them!



Edit: Minato had 16 years to work on taming Kurama. When one uses the reaper death seal, they are trapped fighting their interlocked enemy for all eternity...until Reaper gets the munchies lol. So over that time he probably defeated or came to an understanding with his Kurama part.


That, or his chakra is simbiotic with Naruto's so Naruto awakening it did so for Minato....Minato being a genious simply copied how it worked and actived it just now.

The one thing Naruto lacked was knowledge of seals. Arguably any decent knowledge of Uzumaki seals, like the ones Minato knows, could easily tame a Bijuu.

My guess is that Minato was able to forcefully tame Kurama's chakra during the moments that it was sealed inside himself. If he'd survived, he probably would have been able to access KCM right off the bat.
That, or Naruto achieving KCM automatically entitled anyone with Kurama's chakra to do so as well.

Naruto knew how to use chakra mode right after he defeated the kyuubi. But minato didn't have to do that since he only has the chakra. Minato probably doesn't have mastery over the mode like naruto does since he has no training with it though

It's the seal that the sage invented for the juubi and that Jutsu

Minato only took away the Kyuubi's chakra. ;x So that is why he has it. He does not have Bijuu mode.
