Did Minato Fodderize Obito During The Kyuubi attack?

Minato died, Obito didn't. Obito's controlled the kyuubi then released him in Konoha which caused Minato's death. Although ultimately Minato is going to kill Obito since he is the one who put the Kyuubi inside Naruto.

Considering Obito's advantages, I'd say he got smacked pretty bad. Minato debunked his S/T migration in seconds and beat him. Minato would have done worse if Obito had stayed.

Ok, so would you say he embarrassed Tobi/Obito or made him look bad? I didn't think that fodderizing meant a one shotter, I usually just thought it means making the other guy look like an amateur, which is arguable considering Obito's age.

Fodderise usually means little to no difficulty (to me at least) and when minato acknowledges that the person who strikes faster wins, it was a contest. He had to use an advanced form of the original ftg, something that obito didnt seem to know about. Im not sure what you mean by embarrass because what obito did at that age is something that no kid can accomplish and he impressed so much that minato thought the only person who could do that was madara. Obito lost, however though he lost its a feat that not many people in the manga can accomplish. I wouldnt go as far as saying its an embarrassment on obito's part

if tobi/obito stayed and fought i reckon he would of got his butt handed to him. Minato had his seal tattoo on him so could just keep getting at him. saying that leads me to think why didn't Minato go after him if he could teleport to him at any given time and kill him then go back to save the village.

Well, if minato would have been any second later, kyubi would have used the kyubi bomb again. The nine tail demon fox was about to use his tailed bomb against konoha when minato got there. Minato's priority was to save the village from utter destruction and giving his only born son the nine tail demon fox. I think minato had already planned on giving naruto the nine tail demon fox way before tobi attacked the village which it is why he created the rasengan. That's why killer bee said "it must be fate or rasengan was made for you" to naruto. Her wife was about to die and it would have been impossible for minato to give naruto the nine tail demon fox without using the death reaper jutsu. There was no other choice for minato but to give up his life to give naruto the nine tail demon fox.

Yea obito got played like al loser minato ran through him once and the 2nd time reasegan him then afterwards stabbed him in the stomach through ftg and released the 9 tails from him.

Obito's plan was to destroy the leaf and he failed in his fightthat lasted like 40 seconds if that and failed to destroy the leaf...He...got...played.

I don't understand why people keep bringing his age up. Before people found out his age everyone still seem him and a huge threat to anyone with his incredible S/T Jutsu?

Regardless of his age, He could have been 6 years old with those powers and it would still be a huge victory for Minato ... It's True that it makes Tobi strong to have those abilities at such a young age but those abilities are still the same ones that are causing everyone so many problems.

He was still able to counter them regardless of his age.....

Why are people getting so butt hurt? I acknowledged the fact that Obito was young, he was not 14 btw, he was 15. But that still doesn't take away the fact that even then, Obito was trained by one of the strongest guys in the manga, and has THE most hax sharingan jutsu ever, I don't think anyone could have done any better against him, so just calm down and don't be a sarcastic prick about it.

Even so, Right now, all Obito has done while fighting Kakashi Guy and Naruto is use his advanced kamui jutsu, the same one he used against Minato, and they finally were able to land a hit on him, and that is only due to Kakashi making the connection. It is taking three of Konohas best ninja to take down Obito using the same jutsu he used against Minato, who bested him, i think Minato would still best him at that, and no one else.

Of course winning would be another question for Minato because Tobi is stronger.
