What is a prime I am confused here? Did minato reach his prime? If he didn't how strong would a prime minato be?

No. He died young. That's his greatest flaw.

Prime to me imo is when someone is at their max potential and they pretty much can't learn anything else, their at their most healthy state and they simply learned what they had to and what not.

As for minato he wasnt at his prime considering he was still fairly young, he died in what? his mid 20s? kakashi is in his mid 20's right now unless im mistaken or his at least 30?

When you reach the age around the sannin which is around 50 or so is when your at your prime, excluding orochimaru since his a experiment freak.

Mkaes sense I see him complete rasengan and making his frs like jutsu maybe. If he does he is even more deadlier than ftg rasengan spam.

minato is OP so i don't care if he hit his prime or not...!

prime is the most OP stage a person can get to...! like VOTE battle of EMS madara was his prime...! he had a biju under his control.. PS, everything...! Same for hashirama...

Kakashi was in his early 30's at the beginning of shippuden. Yet he's still getting stronger.
This guy's right prime would be age 50 to 55 with recession beginning to occur at 60.

I think he died at 29, but no, he wasn't at his prime. He was still going to learn more Rasengan techniques and probably create some more. He would truly solo the Narutoverse in his prime.

For me, someone reaches their prime at around 40-45 years of age and slowly get out of their prime until age 55-60 and from their the pace were they get weaker at a substantial rate. Minato had even reached half way to his prime. He would have been beastly if he were to have reached it. I can honestly say the war may have been different if he were brought back when he had reached his prime.

Prime is the age after which a person doesn't improve his overall abilities, usually their abilities fade after prime...
But external boosts after prime shouldn't be counted IMO...

Minato died too young, he developed all that hype where Hiruzen took 50+ years to gain such hype...
He could have exceeded his own self by far if he had lived another 20 years...

Hashirama's prime -> Battle of VOTE
Madara's prime -> Currently [He intentionally revived himself to continue his prime]
Tobirama's prime -> Never shown
Hiruzen's prime -> All hype
Minato's prime -> Never reached
Jiraiya's prime -> Battle Vs Pain
Orochimaru's prime -> Currently
Tsunade's prime -> Currently
Kakashi's prime -> 10 more years to go
Gai's prime -> Same as Kakashi

That might give an idea what I think of 'Prime'...

i thought he was around 26 in part 1 naruto? 2 year time skip would mean he was around 28 or so at the beginning of shippuden?

He did, in his next life lol

Lol that is more like he survived reaper death seal than tamed kurama so no. He's dead and still the same age you don't grow older after you die. Oh yeah how much more experience does he have 5 hours?

If you believe that prime means at his strongest point then yes he did reach his "prime". To be more clear he died at his strongest point but thats not to say that he did not have the potential to become even stronger. Sadly, due to his short life, he never got the opportunity to become stronger.

Pretty much, but like, Orochimaru's prime is pretty much "as long as he is alive". He can continue to take bodies and increase his power a lot.
