It seems far-fetched, but remember this?
His right eye is the same side as the eye he used for Izanagi.
Furthermore, we don't exactly know how these eye transplant powers work. Whether the Uchiha fuse their eyes with others somehow or just remove their original eyes and replace them with those of their brothers', in which case their original ocular chakras still manifest.
Zetsu also vaguely compared Madara's use of Izanagi to Itachi's programmed amaterasu in Sasuke.
With this, I see three possibilities:
1) Madara really did use his original eye to cast a timed Izanagi after he bit into Hashirama's flesh and obtained his blood and the eye regained its light through gedo mazou and hashirama's powers.
2) Madara had another Uchiha with Senju cells cast a timed Izanagi into his eye.
3) As a fail safe, he switched out his original eyes in the fight with Hashirama for someone who had senju chakras and or dna infusions and both his and Izuna's ocular powers were preserved and manifested in them.
If it is the 3rd, perhaps the remaining one he had was the same spare he was using when he met Obito. This could also be supported by he being able to use a miniature IT while attached to the mazou. Further on, is it possible he could still have kept both his and Izuna's eyes rather than discarding any?
