Did Madara know Tsunade could summon katsuyu from sage forest

of course she need all the chakra to heal her comrades and to fight on front lines as she can regenerate from any damage so why would she waste chakra on summon as madara can restrain even tailed beasts with mokuton.

One does not simply slice katsuyu

Katsuyu can be contained as she can change shape and form, and she is immune for physical attacks, she can even tank to 8th gate databook says so

Tsunade had a mysterious hand seal towards the end of the fight but she was going to use all of her chakra on katsuyu because she wasn't at her peak , tsunade just got out of acoma, katsuyu would have to use the Byakugou seal , acid would count as senjutsu so k doubt madara would absorb it ,

I think Tsunade was going to use katsuya to TRY and fend off PS.

She formed handseals right before Madara was going to strike them with her sword. Haters can say what they want but Katsuya would have been the best hope they had at that point because Tsunade even cut in half was more useful than the rest of them lol

Katsuya wouldn't die to any of Madaras physical attacks or jutsu so I can see her being useful against the ps to at least prolong the inevitable.
