Did Madara have PS against Hashi?

Take account to what Edo Madara said to the kages.

"The Complete Susanoo. It is said that anyone who has seen it dies."

That doesn't make much sense considering that Hashirama supposedly came out of that battle alive.

Notice the size of the Valley of the End, the place where Madara fought Hashirama.

If Madara had Perfect Susanoo, surely the size of the valley would be MUCH larger.

I'd think that even if Madara had PS, he wouldn't have needed to use it against Hashirama since he was using the Kyuubi instead.

The 'it is said' part means Madara was only forwarding something commonly reported or rumoured. It's not fact. Just like Hiruzen being 'said to have' superlative strength. Just rumours. Madara already confirmed that he fought with Hashirama in a fight to the death, far beyond the 'game' he was playing with the Kages. He also claimed Shodai was the only one with the potential to defeat him - right after revealing Perfect Susano'o. In addition to that, Ōnoki asked why Madara didn't use his full EMS power (Perfect Susano'o) in their earlier skirmish - Madara states he doesn't fight seriously with kids. Madara even added that without Shodai around, the extent to which the maps would be redrawn would be less. Perfect Susano'o is the only map redrawing technique Madara has shown specific to his EMS. Hashirama fought it.

It would be foolish if he didn't...it is an EMS tech. If Madara chose not to do it than I csn honestly say he's a fool to do so.

Madara and Hashirama created an entire valley not just a waterfall. Deffinatly big enough for Kurama, Hashirama's techniques, and PS

It is said, those are the key words in Madara's sentence. That is simply what people said about his Perfect Susanoo. Onoki already asked why Madara didn't use his full power (Perfect Susanoo) on him all those years ago right after seeing Madara's full power (Perfect Susanoo) during the fight with Edo Madara, and Madara replied that he doesn't go all out on children.
