Did Kurama really show the middle finger to Naruto

Alright so I was sitting on my computer reading trough som chapters, then suddenly I saw something really suprising. As you can see it looks like Kurama is showing the middle finger to Naruto. Did Kishimoto do that on purpose or maybe it was a fail?
