Did Konohamaru DESTROY Naraka path

So when he rasenganed the path it went down but two things I dont get.
If it was destroyed how was it re-asembled when its the one thats needed to do it
If it wasnt destroyed why did it stay down for the count when the bodies feel no fatigue
Its not like Konohamaru ran away instantly since he found time to yell and act tough and he also had a wounded Ebisu on his hands
