AND any thoughts about what she would do? Is there a possibility that she will somehow give it to Naruto or someone else?

Usually when Kishimoto ignores a character for a while they make a grand appearance unexpectedly. That's why many assume the Spiral Zetsu is Yamato. I could see her appearing just before Madara becomes completely OP.

I still think Kishi is going to use her to give us a Troll defeat of Madara. Here's hoping Madara just pops up and takes her out, like he did Kakashi's eye. She hasn't been used properly and at this point having her play a role in Madara's defeat will make fans feel cheated. She's had next to no character development, and that's being nice about it.
