Did Kishi change his mind

Just noticed something. During part 1 where Orochimaru uses Edo Tensei he was about so summon someone but Hiruzen stops him. We know that person was Minato, because it fits with the other 2 hokage and Orochimaru wanted to emotionally damage Hiruzen. Later we found that Minato used reaper death seal, and Kabuto explained which is why he can't summon Minato. I think Kishi changed his mind on why Minato couldn't be summoned in the battle, so he does not get edo tensei'd in the war until Sasuke turns sides. But this creates a plothole since the coffin almost opens and Oro and/or Hiruzen should have known Minato used the seal.

I do not think Hiruzen knew Minato has used RDS on Kyubi as he was not there to witness what happens, if memory serves, Hiruzen arrived just to see Minato and Kushina dead, with a baby Naruto on an alter in front of them with Kyubi nowhere in sight

The Manga is different from the Anime, in the Manga it was clear he failed to summon Minato
