so guys, i was thinking just now about j-man teaching naruto. then i wondered, did he teach naruto cause of the demon fox or because he was the 4th son(and naruto god father), who was his student. he also had to know that kakashi was his teacher at the time since him and the 3rd had a close relationship.

so, basically, did J-Man teach naruto because he was the 4th son(and his god father) or because of the demon fox

Because he's Naruto's god father

He taught him because not only was he Minatos son, but because he realized that he was the one who technically named him. Jiraiya was basically his godfather/grandson and seeing as how he never had any kids, he felt a special connection to Naruto.

He is Naruto godfather but didn't act like it though, and Naruto met Jiraya because of Ebisu, and that's where all begun.

Well other then the whole child of the prophecy thing and his other connections (the godfather of his student's son and what not), Jiraiya liked Naruto's characteristics like he's stated several times. Well, at least until he proved his worth when riding Gamabunta and what not.

A little bit of both, plus he said before that its also because he's not naturally gifted, like he was as a kid

A bit of both, I would think. An untrained, wild Jinchuriki is a liability to his village. Also, he probably believed that Naruto is the 'chosen' one etc. This is probably due to his attitude - and his way of the ninja. His father being the Yondaime, as well as a student of Jiraya also means that he would take a special interest - as it is almost a continuation of Minato; his legacy for peace.

because you know...NARUTO has an open mouth, and for sure if he knew that he was the 4th's son at his young age...he would go bragging and his identity would be more unprotected....he will be targeted by every village...except the sand....maybe....

Well, besides him not having the Open-Mouth-Insert-Foot function, Sandaime Hokage(Hiruzen) gave express orders not to say a word, end of story, period, no questions asked. That applies to after his death.
