Did Itachi's Izanami Affect Orochimaru Too?

During this new chapter Orochimaru stated that while he was inside Kabuto that he changed and saw the change in Kabuto. My question is if it's possible that being inside Kabuto while Izanami took place didn't affect Orochimaru as well and that maybe that's part of why he's so mellowed out right now?

NO but he did have to watch from Kabutos POV so he might have learned something from it, beacuse this is when he learned how wrong his idea was.

Well he made it clear he still intends to have Sasuke's body, but he isn't strong enough. I just felt that he might have gotten indirectly hit by Izanami as well. Kishi already made Sasuke turn good so I don't doubt him saying that. Hopefully Orochimaru has something planned.
