Did Itachi know that Tobi wasn't Madara?

This latest chapter made Itachi seem like the most intelligent ninja who ever lived and I'm confused as to whether he really knew who Tobi was. I originally thought that Itachi was tricked into believing Tobi was Madara, but Itachi also said he was a shell of his former self:

Itachi also referred to the masked man as 'Tobi' rather then Madara when he Resurrected with edo:

So sometimes Itachi referred to Obito as Madara and other times he called him Tobi. Did Itachi know that Tobi wasn't Madara?

Madara was just a name people gave him. They didn't actually believe this guy had stayed alive for anuundred years. Most people suspected it to be false like Minato, Kakashi, Sasuke

That can't be true Or else Itachi would have had said to Naruto that,

Itachi : When I was in Akatsuki..... being knowing that the mask man is Madara, I suspect that....he's not.

No matter how awesome Itachi is you have to face the fact that even he was tricked by Obito. Remember when Itachi Amaterasu hit Obito from Sasuke's eyes, Obito said he's lucky that Itachi didn't know everything about him or else he would have been dead and its highly likely that he meant that Itachi didnt know he wasn't Madara.

Possibly he knows, but who else survived at the Uchiha massacre appart of him and sasuke, IMO I think he knew that he wasn´t Madara but nobody else was that strong so he called him Madara
