Did itachi know that the fourth was naruto's father after all ?

I think Itachi knew, somehow he was always was in the know how... plus Itachi wasnt that loyal when you think about it in the end he didnt really like Marada at all... And as we know nothing is said for no reason when it comes to this manga
Sasuke was like eight or so when Itachi left, and Naruto and Sasuke are the same age, so it cant be 5 years after the 4th died. Plus Itachi was ANBU, they know everything that goes on in the village it like the CIA of the Leaf. yes he knew.

naruto and sasuke are the same age.. the 4th died when naruto was a newborn.. itachi didn't leave the village til they were a bit older.. so he definitely could have known about naruto being the 4th's son. itachi also had a high rank in anbu, so there were plenty of things he could have known.
and when they officially let us know that naruto was the 4th's son, i actually recalled itachi saying that.. unfortunately i was not a part of any forum or anything then lol

He knew that the Yondaime sealed the Kyuubi in Naruto, but He couldnt have known that Naruto was the Yondaime's son. :naruto:

Itachi definitely knew.
It's not hard to figure out that they were related, anyway. (blonde hair, blue eyes, summoning toads, etc)

blonde hair, blue eyes... sure.. but the summoning toads part, that part came from jiraiya.. jiraiya taught both of them.. itachi's been one of the smartest characters in this manga.. he knew exactly how to drive sasuke to hate and kill him.. he knew that sasuke would buy the story about taking his eyes to just to infuriate sasuke further.. he knew madara was gonna get to sasuke, so he planted amaterasu.. and he might have given naruto a power.. of course that could have been the frog scroll.. who knows..
but yea, itachi=know-it-all genious

Kakashi definatly knew that Naruto was Minato's son. It's pretty clear when he made Naruto combine rasengan with his wind chakra. He said to him the he believes he is the only shinobi that can surpass the 4th and when Yamato told him he is a very smooth talker he said "No, i do believe what i said". Also if u add Kakashi's theory that the next generation will always surpass the previous one it's all clear. And to prove it furthermore when Kakashi's rasengan was blown to oblivion by Naruto's incomplete frs he saw the image of the 4th standing in the same position Naruto was. But i could be wrong. Only kishi knows the truth
