Did Indra Possess EMS?

I am just curious did Indra have the MS or the EMS.. if so how did he attain it?

By the looks of that scan he did... since I don't think one can reach PS with just MS which is quite surprising how he did it.. or maybe his eyes were special?

Are you saying they sealed of the mangekyo? I was under the impression they sealed of the sharingan completely until they got emotional. Because Indra was Born with his sharingan active.

Nice try but I think what Tobi meant here was that they sealed the "loving" side of them and they filled themnselves with hatred rather than love... afterall sharingan is a wheel eye that reflects feelings

do you really read the manga?
1. every time an uchiha lose love a symptom happen which produce a change in their eyes (in other words the symptom that trigers the sharingan and the mangekyou is the same)
2. they sealed the symptom that cause mangekyou sharingan and it was because of this that ems was born

It's logical to assume he had neither since he was the first "Uchiha". His eyes were extremely powerful since he was the son of the SO6P, something like losing eye vision probably didn't occur with his eyes. Over time, his descendants put rules on how to activate the power levels of the eyes because it was too dangerous ( I think).

I'm assuming since Indra had the "original" sharingan that it didn't have the levels of progression that the sharingan we know now a days does. Since he had the "original" I'm assuming it's abilities and zero draw backs dwindled over course of history. Since no one else had his eyes this means that his mate wouldn't produce a child with the same eyes as him. His children would have less effective eyes and through time it would reach the point we are at now. 1 tomoe, 2 tomoe, 3 tomoe, MS, EMS. I'm sure Indra had eyes that were above the level of EMS, but we just simply don't know everything yet :S

Eyes>Sharingan>MS>EMS>Rinnegan

You can't have the Rinnegan if you lack EMS, Indra had the sages eyes the rinnegan but didn't had the body to support it, that is why he was left with the EMS.
