Did Hiruzen know FTG?

It was stated that he knew every technique in the Leaf Village, so I'm wondering if this became lore before or after the advent of FTG. And even then Tobirama's S/T technique existed before Hiruzen was Hokage, so were the villagers lying or has Hiruzen refrain from using FTG the whole time?

Hiruzen may or may not know how FTG works, but I don't think he's able to use it as good as Minato can.
He may know all about the jutsu in Konoha, but it doesn't necessarily mean he can use all of them perfectly. Such a feat would be impossible within one lifetime.

If (and that's a big if) Hiruzen could use Hiraishin, the only explanation as to why he couldn't would be because of his low chakra levels at his old age.

We don't know if he learned it from the Uzumaki, though. He may or may not have learned that from watching Minato use it when he sealed Kurama into Naruto.

Besides, Minato's guards can use it without seals. Although, they all need to be present.

I think hokages must be informed of all jutsu developed in their village. I think its the hokage who ranks it and decides if it is forbidden or not. Remember when kakashi breifed tsunade on wind realease rasengan. I think because hurizen was the longest surviving kage he knew the workings around all jutsu deceloped during his span. Even if it was a jutsu that had never been mastered or succesful. Like orochimaru power of the white snake. He knew what that was before hand.

Look at the name of that website, and know in you heart that your incorrect. Besides tobirama used it too and his last name is senju and not namikaze
