Did he cut the root with his susanoo blade? If he did then why didn't it suck the susanoo up the roots are for sucking chakra isn't it? Or was it totsuka blade? Because if he could stop biijudama using it's finger the normal chakra blade would break that's for sure!

I don't think it sucks up ninjutsu that comes in contact with it for some reason. Tobirama's water spray worked, and even Enma made contact without getting sucked up even though he is a living being with chakra.
