Did Hashirama died of the same disease as Itachi?

Hashirama died in the first shinobi war. He wasn't that young either. He was at least mid to late 30s when he and Madara found the village. Someone killed him. Thats how he died.

Who do you think it was that killed him?

Hashirama's death is one of the biggest mysteries left in this series. I find it hard to believe that he was killed in war. The dude was a powerhouse; Madara was the only person at that time who could kill him. He probably was gangraped some time during the war. Still hard to believe, though.

Who do you think it was that killed him?

My guess is as good as yours. The only people who should have been remotely on his level of that time period were the other Kage of their respective villages but I' sure there were missing nins and criminals just like Gin Kin bros (who beat Tobirama and Nidaime Raikage) around that time to so it could have been someone or a group like that too.
