Did Hashi even deserve fans before this chapter?

This is the first chapter we've seen Hashi show off his personality. How were people fans of a character they knew nothing about? We're you a fan just living off his hype alone? What if he was a douche like Tobirama xd?

Although Hashi did turn out to be swell guy. He reminds me of Goku.

Naruto will most likely reach how he is at that age.

OT: He has reminded me of goku for a long time. ever since orochimaru replied "but you like that don't you" when hashirama said the world is always fighting.

Goku was kind hearted and love his friends but he loved a good battle.

And that "u mad" smile against madara also reminded be of goku for some reason.
