Did Guy replace Neji/Lee in importance?

Guy is fighting side to side with 2 main characters(Naruto and Kakashi) against the main antagonist(Tobi). Guy also fought Kisame(a pretty important, beast guy) 3 times and defeated him. Guy has been getting a lot of shine for a secondary character, like Lee and Neji got in part 1. Also, besides Kakashi, he is the only active sensei left in Konoha. So do you guys think Guy replaced Neji/Lee in importance/relevance?
