I really don't get what the point of the vid is as the only relevance it has to the topic, is Ace saying that he isn't joining the Strawhats, something he also said to BB when he invited him. And thinking here that Oda implied something, is a forced, far-fetched and subjective interpretation. In the end this is just you, not Oda, creating a what-if scenario. What if Ace had lived, what then? There might be some people who enjoy having such counterfactual discussions, but personally I find them rather pointless in regards to a fictional story as someone consciously decides every time what is going to happen. Ace dying is something that was planned out a long time ago and that's not an insignificant event that you can change at will. Even if Oda would have somewhere intentionally implied this, that would be the same like someone rejecting you because the person is already married: "Sorry, I'm already married, but if I wouldn't have been, I surely would have gone out with you"...you really gain nothing from that as the only reason that person can say that, is because that hypothetical scenario isn't a plausible reality at that moment. It's essentially a lie in the making.
The dice have been cast. Ace was meant to die and thinking about how it would have been if he had lived, doesn't help the current story at all. That Oda did or did not imply something, and the former is highly doubtful, is not even important as there are countless of these what-if scenario's. What if Luffy had never met Shanks? What if Sanji's father and brothers had been nicer to him? What if the Strawhats had decided to not chase Robin? What if Luffy had decided to not wait two years to enter the New World? Etc. In some cases this might be fun for some people to think about, but it doesn't affect the real plot at all. You on the other hand make it sound like there some revelation behind all of this.
