Did Edo Hashirama really defeat Edo Madara?

I don't think Madara was holding back, but he obviously wasn't serious.
When he was revived was when Madara got serious. He owned hashirama, Tobirama, naruto, Sasuke, and the bijuu + a couple of fodder.

II'm a Madara fan, but hashi won this with extreme diff just like VoTE. People could say it was a stalemate but it's Canon that the black rods would've wore off anyway.

People need the common sense to realize that even though Hashirama was s tabbed with the rods, Madara did not have the power left to restrain him. With black rods, you have to overwhelm your opponent's chakra.. something Madara could not do even when they were fighting.

It took a fully revived Madara, to restrain a hardly any chakra left Hashirama.


REASON why Madara wasn't worried, was because of black Zetsu.

Hashirama held back until the moment Madara said that Hashirama's death didn't really even matter (hence why the flashbacks were shown) that their dream was irrelevant, that what they worked was irrelevant. << Signing that Madara had fallen to low.. and then casually beat Madara..

Yet 1 slash of PS destroys Chibaku tensei.. , your post is irrelevant due to the fact both techniques focus on destruction. There is no advantage that chibaku tensei has over Madara's PS.. nothing.

madara made it seem like he was only fighting hashirama enough to hold him back from fighting against juubito. even when he was immobilized, he didn't show a sign of being worried or tired. and it seemed like madara didn't even have a fighting spirit in him until he got revived.
