I dunno if Amaterasu, which can be dodged at point blank range, is faster than DMS Kamui. Aside from that, he doesn't need to look at Itachi's face to Kamui Itachi. Aside from that, this all only applies if Kakashi decides that the best way to fight Itachi is by standing in front of him in a straight line and playing dojutsu wars. The man can warp anywhere whenever he wants. Unless this is Edo Itachi, Kakashi can just outlast him by forcing him to do nonsense like this.

Your first mistake was comparing typical genjutsu to tsukuyomi. Even if killer bee or naruto tried and suceeded to break Tsukuyomi, they'd still get the 72hr mind rape.
