"until I pull ahead of you" means less than or equal to. People could exploit that loophole and say "well no, he didn't, he just said he needs to pull ahead so they could be equal." If we're not disputing the translation that is. Last time those two fought Sasuke delivered cold hands on Naruto until they went Super Saiyan and Naruto's been behind a desk for a couple years while Sasuke been out and about.

Both were equally hot garbage when they needed the Tsunade of their team save their ass in the previous Gaiden manga (which is canon I believe). Though we could argue that was the author's attempt at making Sakura useful. I'd argue both are equal by design of Deus Ex Machina. I digress, I don't really understand how a matured adult's humble assertion to his buttbuddy is so provocative. More click bait popularity I suppose.

Sasuke is a punk tho, dude mad soft now.

By saying that sasuke meant he thinks they are equals but he can surpass him, while Naruto has given up cause he knows there will be no more free powers from a dead hago so that can compete with sasuke's talent which helps him develop his rinnegan abilities :)

Even if Viz translation is the same, InsecureBase will never accept or admit it. They still refuse to accept that Sasuke can't beat Naruto without the Bijuu, even though Sasuke himself says it.

I love when they use this excuse. I see waaaay more Sasuke>Naruto threads then the counter. But EVERY biased Sasuke fan will swear by their lord that there aren't many....I would post links for both to show the comparison but that would take far more energy then I care to put in :pick:
