Have you die-hard Naruto fanboys ever thought that Sasuke's words obviously meant that he wants to get AHEAD of Naruto and no longer wants to treat one another as an equal. I mean its already been stated in the datebooks, interviews and by kishimoto himself that since they are and will forever be equal. They are like Yin and Yang, if one grows and gets stronger than the other will to . Just pointing out that physically too he was in a slightly better condition. Anyway, no matter how you see it Naruto won VoTE 2 and achieved all his goals for the fight.

if sasuke said "catch up to you" you might have had a point but teh fact taht he said "pull ahead of you" just reinforces teh point that kishi explicitly stated in teh interviews: Nardo+Kurama=Sasuke
