Danzo is no copy cat, he set his own standards. He's an extremely resolute person. That's why he's so awesome. You will love to hate him
i dont hate fictional Characters . But i do question if he had the will of fire

"Will of fire" means protecting your comrades, right? While Danzo viewed his subordinated as expendable pawns. Do the math.

Of course not. He's a realistic ninja.

I feel he is closer to the Curse of Hatred than the will of fire.

I can see why you say that. I can't excuse not defending your village on 3 seperate occasions

I disagree protecting your home is every ninja duty.

I agree. However, that's not all the Will of Fire is. There's also "protecting your friends" and ancestor worship. Those last two things have no place in the life of a ninja. The needs of the village come before everything else, even friends and family.
Now, did Danzō do that? The answer is up for debate. He did eliminate threats to the village, but let other threats continue, such as Pain. However, he did that for the future of Konoha. To remove a weak leader and become the Hokage himself, which he believed would help Konoha. In that way, he is a real ninja.

@hidden sound . I never said he wasn't a real ninja. I questioned if he had the will if fire. As for the rest of your comment . Danzig did nothing during three invasions. Obito ,orochimaru, pein. There is no excuse for that. I understand having a different philosophy from the ruling party aka the hokage but still... That's treason. That would be like republican military members saying I wont defend the us becausse Obama is a democrat

How do you know Danzō did nothing during Tobi and Orochimaru's invasions?
Treason. That's one way of looking at it. Another way is that Danzō was looking to the future of Konoha. He knew Konoha wouldn't be destroyed, and Tsunade needed to be replaced with a strong leader.

Wanna make it clear, I'm not saying Danzō was right in his actions. I'm just providing a different view that most people don't think of.

first of all danzo was collaborating with oro even after he was considered rouge. Second he wasn't shown fighting sound or sand ninja. Many less important leaf ninja were shown fighting the invaders. As for the nine tails attack he once again wasn't shown fighting . Also during meeting with the other elders he was criticizing the 3rd and 4th. When the female elder asked him where he was he got quiet. Implying once again he didn't defend his village

That was all filler. Non-canon. And during Orochimaru's invasion, Kishi hadn't even introduced Danzō.
By the time of Part II, Orochimaru didn't even know of Danzō was alive or dead, nodding to how poor their relationship was.
