Did boruto awaken 2 byakugan in one eye?

Sasuke didn't awaken both rinnegan in each eye and instead awakened a tomo'd rinnegan in his left eye.

Is borutos doujutsu similar.did he somehow manage to only awaken byakugan in one eye the way sasuke only has rinnegan in his left?

I don't think it gets more obvious than that, it's either a less advanced version or more advanced version of Hamura's dojutsu

That can explain why it doesn't look like a regular tenseigan,sasukes rinnegan looks slightly different but it's in only one eye,borutos tenseigan can look different if it's in one eye

for the tenseigan the toll was overly heavy for Toneri and he had to lay down for most of the time as it was pulsing

Boruto might not have it for both eyes for many reasons...

the burden is too much to handle it for both eyes
his dna isn't as perfect as a pure Hyuga byakugan mixed with pure Ootsutski
the eye could be split between him and Himawari

but we don't know... they will stretch out the development and truth about this eye for the entirety of the series

The authors are increasing the number of dojutsu :
Uchiha + Senju/Uzumaki = Hagoromo's chakra = Rinnegan
Otsutsuki moon + Hyuga = Hamura's chakra = Tenseigan
Hyuga + Senju/Uzumaki = Hagoromo's Yang + Hamura's Yin = Boruto's dojutsu
As far as we know , there's no manga evidence to support this claim ... but it makes some sense ....
Boruto's eye isn't tenseigan : for achieving Tenseigan you need to combine Otsutsuki moon and Hyuga's chakra ... While Boruto doesn't possess Otsutsuki moon's chakra .
