did anyone really like the main character/s in any anime/manga..? as far as i watched/read i didnt really like the main characters. tbh i liked the supporting characters/villains much more than the main character. here's my list :

Sometimes I do - Lelouch Lamperouge is easily my favourite character in Code Geass for instance, same goes for Alucard in Hellsing. In general though I do end up liking different characters. Usually I will prefer a different recurring character or a villain such as Johan Liebert from Monster.

Yup. Most of my favorites are main characters...

Naruto, Shinji, Alphonse, Spike Spiegel, Menma, etc.

Edward and Alphonse Elric are just so great. I also like Kenzo Tenma from Monster.

I like the main characters of One Piece, Yu Yu Hakusho and FMA.

That's pretty much it. For all other manga, I prefer the side characters.
