i didn't mind it. it answered a few questions moved plot along, pretty much said out right that naruto will be hokage and hopefully ended flashbacks for a while

Eh, just pule filler reiterating everything we've heard a thousand times before, only new content was Kakashi.

As with all chapters though, it will make sense in its intended form - alongside other chapters, so it's difficult to give it a score.

Until this picks up I will keep saying the same thing: Why do I bother getting excited for the manga anymore....

Once again it was full of stupid flashback(s) that I didn't need to see again. Another couple pages where all it was was Shinobi taking out their weapons and getting their "spirit" back to fight. And then some random babbling about Hokage.

This is dragging on WAY too much and needs to pick-up before we all lose interest.

Today i saw too many people talking that naruto series is not going well and Kishi is just stalling and dragging on the series
but in my opinion , which is also a fact , criticising one manga alone without the consideration of the whole life of Naruto is not good
It is a long story in which Naruto suffered and was hated. his parents died. Truly, it was a f**king hard life.Naruto struggled in whole series...
I find this chapter wonderful; I have seen Naruto since manga 1. So I feel empathy with Naruto and find this necessary.
I mean being fair; you make suffer a character to give him glory (if it is not a tragedy) otherwise you are saying your public that hard work does not matter that this life has no happy endings.
And that can be ok with others stories but not with Naruto because the core of the story is to make you believe that this world can be better with love and that you can stop the chain of hate. This manga is to give us hope.

I honestly get where you are coming from, but there has to be a better solution then feeding us flashback after flashback and taking multiple ENTIRE CHAPTERS to affirm that Naruto cares for his friends. There has to be a middle ground.

I really, don't get some of you Naruto fans. You want others to sympathize with Naruto's pain, but when you see Sasuke who has endured worlds more pain you call him emo. I am not denying that Naruto had a hard childhood, but IMO if kishi wants the reader to feel sympathy then a better option would be to mix these "moments" into the chapter rather than spending consecutive chapters trying to drive home the SAME POINT!! ITS SUFFOCATING

SERIOUSLY, DID ANYONE LIKE THIS WEEK'S CHAPTER? I LOVE THE MANGA I REALLY DO. SOMETIMES I CAN'T SLEEP BECAUSE I CANT WAIT FOR THE JUMP RELEASES. BUT, TO THINK THAT I WAITED A WHOLE WEEK AND LOSS SLEEP OVER THIS!!??? And it is not that interesting things aren't going on! We have the epic fight of Hashi vs Madara which this week got cut down from its weekly 1 page a week to 0. We also have the fight of the 2 most gifted shinobi of the generation vs the pseudo So6P and Kishi gives it 1 page of action REALLY!? :vincent:
Kishi was it really necessary to have Naruto heal Shikamaru give Sakura or Tsunade some star time. You could have even let Karin do it. It would have at least saved her from drowning in her drool over Sasuke and it would have allowed us to bypass at least one chapters worth of flashbacks.

Kishimoto I know you are stalling to get more money for your manga, but at least think about your readers a little OK

I honestly thought this chapter was great. Its a build up chapter to the final push of the manga.

Judging the manga chapter by chapter is stupid because every chapter requires context and relies on the other chapters. Most chapters can't really cover much material. But to be honest, I loved this chapter because it harkened back to previous thoughts and discussions that occurred previously.

Raikage admitting to himself that power comes in different forms (ie Naruto and Hashirama bowing without any second thought) proves that he has had a change in mindset and is more willing of other people's ways of thinking and concepts of power.

I enjoyed the chapter, contrary to the complainers opinions these chapters are needed, a manga that only has action would get boring fast, this was an important development chapter.

We saw a lot happen, the Kages have changed in ways (the Raikage for instance), the Kages rallied the Alliance, Shikamaru made a big decision and we learned what his final fate might be, we also saw Kakashi again.

Kishi is gearing up for the final round with Obito.
