Did anyone else start watching Naruto back in 06 on toonami?

Same here, I didn't even knew of the word "Manga" in 2010. Started reading it in early 2011 thanks too some dope ass youtube video's I seen on it. Hell I didn't even knew of Shippuden until 2009-2010, I thought the series was over back than.

Yeah, but I dropped it on the 5th episode due the fact at the time, I thought it was some DBZ ripoff, but with Ninjas then 1-2 years later decided to give it a try again. ​

Complete opposite for me, DBZ was the only Anime I watched and when I saw naruto and some parallels with DBZ I thought I would love it. And indeed I did. Never watch any other anime/manga though.

I tried to watch FMA, One Piece, Bleach some others with my brothers, I just couldn't. I don't like anime as much as the normal anime fan I guess. Althogh I did like this one series a little, I think it was call YuYu Yasha or something like that. One of his moves was like spirit finger I think.

I started watching Naruto when it was on Toonami, and I friggin loved it. I even loved the Filler Arcs, to be honest. Never knew they weren't canon at the time. When I was young, I loved the dub, but now I think their voices are annoying.
