The Gaara retrieval arc was worse. Sasori losing to fodder kunoichi and Naruto jumping around screaming like an idiot like he has no home training. You think he would evolved in the two years. Gaara and Deidara's p**sy flight match was boring af. Yeah definitely this one was worse
I agree with everything except Gaara's fight with Deidara. That was a truly awesome battle and noble how Gaara sacrificed his life for the village. Other than that, yeah Sasori getting trolled by Chiyo and Sakura was truly ridiculous and Naruto was an idiot and almost let himself be captured. It was cool seeing kamui for the first time though.

Although I do agree that Sai and Yamato were irrelevant characters, especially Sai. The only thing that Sai is good for is causing drama between team 7, which is not particularly a good thing. Yamato's only usefulness was containing and keeping an eye on Naruto's hidden power. Not only was Sai irrelevant but he is completely weak. You might as well put him on the same tier as Sakura.

The only good thing about this arc was Orochimaru versus 4TK Naruto and Sasuke punking the shit out of Naruto and company. Everything else was retarded and stupid, but I did enjoy Sakura being smacked by 4TK Naruto. She was really stupid to try and help him knowing he wasn't in his right mind.
I did not care much about it since I watched part 2 from episode 1 to 88 in one go. I did not have to deal with waiting week after week for one episode, so I enjoyed all those episodes except perhaps team guy vs themselves.
as for the Arc itself, I really hated how Kishi made Naruto inferior and humiliated him, that was the worst part for me!
I strangely agree with everything you said. I feel like it was pointless other than the post-time skip reveal of Sasuke. You know what...here! Take some of this +rep gah dammit.
It was pretty contrived. I think it was an excuse to have a pretty boy character around while Sasuke was absent. I agree that Sai and Yamato were pointless, yamato in particular. Sai, at least, has character development. The Orochimaru vs. Naruto fight is probably the worst in the series.
