Obito says on page 11 of 602 that Madara is his ancestor. Do you think he means his direct relative or just a clan member from ages ago? Anyone know if the translation is accurate?
as i understood it obito couldnt belive the old man was madara so obito assumed he meant that this old man was an acestor of uchiha madara.

Thats all dude, nothing major to come from that line. Just more bullcrap how someone can live so long with hasihrama's dna.

makes me wonder hasihrama death was very shifty. somethings going on here.

At first I thought Obito recognized him as his grandfather but he was clearly surprised to learn he was Madara.

So as others are saying, the only explanation is that Obito was referring to him in a way he would to any elderly Uchiha clan member. Now since we know he's not Obito's grandfather, I really think Madara is Nagato's grandfather.
