Did all of Hagoromo's lineage fail?

PS: I deducted Kimimaru's clan descended from Hagoromo's side and not Hamura's because of the existence of their pupils. None of Hamura's descendants have this trait; his Ootsutsuki & Hyuga descendants lack thereof.

Is it also fair to say Hamura semi-succeeded in leaving a lineage behind in the Hyuga? They do posses his KKG.

It might not make much of a difference just trying to get others standpoints on it once I looked at it this way.

Due to the fact that the main family was wiped out and had their byakugans stolen by the last remaining survivor of the branch family (Toneri) yes, presumably extinct since hes the only one in the moon.
from speculation, during the moon war, many fled to earth to escape and live normal lives. hyuga is one of those from the main family and the uzumakis from the branch.
If that's the case, uzumaki has 2 remaining known survivors (Naruto + Karin) while hyuga is still remaining strong and many (compared to the rest anyways)

Not entirely. Uchiha clan is coming back slowly. I still wished kishi told us about what happened to the senju tho.
The kaguya clan could've come from hamura.
They could've been the body( bone kkg), the hyuga the eyes (hyuga's byakugan is special for some reason) and the otsutsuki is chakra ( Toneri said his otsutsuki chakra would turn hanabi's byakugan into tenseigan)

Minato and Jiraiya failed to use Ashura's feats on the level of his descendants, in contrast Sakura surpassed Tsunade who had the body of a Senju and Uzumaki. She also is a healer which is a signature feat of Ashura's descendants and she has unique hair colour like Ashura's descendants and Ootsutsuki for that matter.

Sakura is the best medical ninja atm ..... she is far from the word "fodder".. that'd imply to the useless "fighters" who are pretty much lacking in everything else but fighting, since this is peacetime now.

also thats not true. they cannot be Senju's descendants as they were stated as distant blood relative as that will also be speculation.

being distant blood relative means they could also be from hamura's bloodline. You could say that it's because he became Ashura's transmigrant that is why the Uzumaki is Senju descendant is also speculation. Senjus ran out of kids especially near Sasuke's age. Also the requirements are (of 6 paths bloodline - ostutsuki, body lineage - chakra and lifeforce, close bond with each other - BFFs turned rivals) There could've been more Senjus but the Uchihas were massacred leaving only Sasuke.
