Aizen said he had pretty much mastered the shinigami arts, that's why he used the Hogyoku. Plus Aizen literally has a shikai release command, you have to say bankai when you use one. Unless you're Ichibe.

I believe Aizen was referring to his physical feats....

Aizen don't need to day a release command for his shirts sense it was always activated..

Yea he said bankai but really he was fooling them an using his shirts the whole time.

Honestly, IMO I think Aizen hasn't lost anything, the time he was tied but, just gave him time to think up of something new. He tried to get through to the Soul King's Palace but was denied using Mayuri's restraints. Nevertheless, I think that Aizen has a lot more up his sleeve, and the battle is nowhere near to end, I still think we're about 50 to 60% through of the whole final arc, we've still got ALOT left.
