[Discussion] DF elements

Since we know DF elemental advantages allow you to hit your logia opponents without haki i.e. Luffy being able to hit Enel due to being rubber and Akainu hitting Ace due to magma over fire. This leads me to some match up questions people usually dismiss because haki.

Can Crocodile beat Kuzan since ice is water
Can Enel or Ace beat Crocodile
Can Enel beat Kuzan since lightning can hit and melt ice?
Can Caesar blow up Smoker?

No. Crocodile doesn't get harmed by water-soaked things because it's water, he gets harmed by anything soaked in a liquid because it causes his sand to clump together and be unable to disperse, nullifying his DF power. Kuzan's ice is a solid, so an ice spike would still pass through Crocodile normally.

2. Yeah. Enel can turn him into glass and Ace might be able to.

3. I doubt it. Doesn't seem to me like that's a specific enough weakness.

I think you might have answered 1 backward based on your reasoning. I asked can Croc win you said no then said the attacks would go through him. You did mean Croc wins right? I was thinking he would to since he absorbs water and ice is water, I'm expecting some people to feel his Admiral title is enough to give him the win still though.

4 Because Caesar can blow up gases and take the oxygen out of the air etc. etc. I was wondering if people thought maybe he could affect Smoker's smoke as well.

Crocodile isn't weak to water in particular. His weakness is that Liquids cause his sand to stick together, allowing him to be hit. Luffy uses blood to fight him at one point. So Kuzan doesn't beat him just because Ice is Water. Instead, Kuzan beats him because he is Kuzan.

Lightning/Fire against Sand is a tricky matchup, but since sand can melt at higher tempertatures, it's possible Ace or Enel could hit Croc.

Lightning can melt ice, But Kuzan is about 386 leagues above Enel, which is a number i have reached through quite a bit of calculation.

Smoke is not an explosive, whereas Ceasars explosions use gases that can explode. So Ceasar cannot explode Smoker.

Oh yeah I misunderstood your question. Uh, that's a tough call. The water is frozen, but it is water. I'm torn because can he not pull it in because it's a solid or can he because it's liquid. Tough question.

Croc can absorb water too though and ice being water means trouble for Aokiji I would think.

Enel was pretty good with his DF and I would argue placing this on a basic DF battle gives him a fighting chance. Kuzan's the better all around but their both very good with their DF's and can affect a large area.

Well smoke is a gas but I'm not entirely sure how it would be broken down in the OP world. Could Caesar do something to take the smoke out of Smoker's smoke form and force him to remain in human form, who knows? As I understood it Caesar controls all gases? I'm not positive there is an actual answer to this one.

Yeah, Caesar can just control all gases. If Smoker is a gas, he can more than likely control Smoker.

I thought he could explode them too with Gastanets, when I asked the question I was essentially picturing Caesar putting out some of his gas into smoker's smoke and exploding it or just being able to do it to him directly when he charged him.

TBH If he explodes Smoker, I see that killing Smoker, since he is essentially consuming Smoker with something his element isn't in a way that changes his composition. The same way Enel could kill Crocodile by changing the composition of his element into glass.

more or less what I was figuring. Just curious to see if others figured it that way as well
