Vex is a handsome young man of average height, distinguished by his delicate facial features and his brown hair. His hair is kept in a mildly short, spiky cut, with spiky strands covering his forehead, and other, longer ones jutting upwards from the top of his head. has sharp teeth, which are filed to a point giving him a more fearsome appearance. Vex has deep brown hazel eyes. Vex's attire consists of an elegant dark suit, worn under a trench coat with dark black pants, which is worn on missions sometimes. Otherwise, he wears a blue half jacket with pouches on it, in which he stores scrolls and ninja tools such as shuriken, gas masks, kunai, paper bombs, etc. On his legs, he wears a blue pants. He's often compared to a cat, looking cat like and moving like a cat.

Personality:
Vex is extremely out-going. Even in the worst scenario, he always tries to get everyone pumped. He always speaks what's on his mind, even if it's extremely rude. He has an analytical mind, and is very smart although sometimes appearing to be an idiot. Vex however can become extremely enraged when his friends are injured, so he is very loyal. He isn't afraid of battle, and can even appear cold and detached to enemies. In this state, he can discuss death in a calm almost casual manner. However, most of the time he is a cheerful person and is almost always smiling. He has a large appetite, and his stomach has been called a "bottomless pit" by his friends over in the rock tavern. A strange trait is the fact that he looks like, and is sometimes referred to as a cat. This is most likely due to his nickname of "Black Cat".

Background Info
History:
Vex was born and raised in Iwagakure. He wasn't in the academy, and never officially graduated. In fact, he never even wanted to be a ninja in the first place. It all began with the issuing of Tsuchikage Order No. 4472, enlisting all boys over the age of 12 as being "Ready for active military service". Vex was pretty bothered over this, not enjoying fighting very much. In fact, he was terribly afraid of the enemy. When the village was finally invaded, the enemy attacked the Ninja academy killing hundreds of Genin and Academy Students in a bloody massacre that goes down through history as the "Rape of the Sarutobi Skill School". Vex finally gathered his courage, and as he did so awakened a power deep within himself. Opening his first portal, the Keigoku flowed through driving the enemy insane. Now, Vex is not officially a member of the shinobi force, but occasionally helps out and goes on missions when he's bored.

When Vex was just 18, a huge war broke out where Suna and Iwa were allied. Vex and some other nin were sent to Suna as a gesture of good will. While there, Vex made good friends with a lot of people. One of them being Skulduggery Pleasent the Skeleton Detective himself. They are good friends, and Vex taught him how to dance. Together, they formed a group during the war called the Dead Men along with Saracen Rue, Erskine Ravel, Anton Shudder, Valkyrie Cain (who joined later), Corrival Deuce, Hopeless, and Larriken. They were called this because they would consistently go on suicide missions, and come back alive. They made quite a name for themselves, and were easily able to turn the tides of the war.

Vex is extremely skilled in the art of lightning. He is so proficient in the arts of lightning, that he is able to perform all lightning jutsu with just a single handseal.
Vex is also very skilled in water jutsu, being able to use all water jutsu at a slightly faster rate than other elements.
