DevPro help

Hey there, so I downloaded DevPro for the third time now and when I try to open it as an administrator it still does not work. I downloaded all things you'd need for it to start, but it still doesn't.
I have Windows 8 btw.
Any suggestions? :'(

Right click > Properties > "Compatibility" Tab > "Run this program in compatibility mode for: (Try them all)" > Apply.

If you don't have DirectX, that's likely to be your problem. If you do have it, it's either a version that's too outdated, or it's a version that for some reason is incompatible. It says one of requirements for the software is DirectX 8 or later, and you can have more than one DirectX version installed at the same time. Try installing DirectX 8 and running it again.

Still doesn't work, it says I have the most updated version already.
