Yes, I like Itachi but I like Pain far more. But with Itachi's Susano and Yata mirror and his genjutsu, (I think he is the best Genjutsu user in the Naruto-verse), I think Itachi would win this as long as its only Deva path fighting him. If all the others are there, Itachi will lose. Deva path will have to rely on only his eyes and that is what will get him trapped in one of Itachi's famous Genjutsus. I hate to say it but Itachi>Deva

Yeah, he can pull chibaku tensei outlast itachi's susano stamina and kill itachi but it won't matter because at the end of all that trouble, deva will realized that there are 2 sharingan eyes behind him.. indicating that got caught in a genjutsu.. so itachi will rape deva.

Deva is a Fodder in genjutsu until kishimoto disagreed with me.

Deva can use Super shinra Tense and send both itachi and susano flying but it wont matter susano can stabed the ground with his sword in a similar way that kyuby stabed his tails to the ground.. now if something happen at the end of the day it will be a genjutsu and deva will be Dead...

Chibaku Tensei is enough to beat Itachi however there are other concerns. What if Deva makes eye contact and gets genjutsu'd then Totsuka'd? He was certainly careless when he fought Kakashi and had no qualms about looking into his Sharingan. What if Deva repels Itachi and Itachi turns the force back at him with Yata mirror, the shield is said to be impenetrable and to return attacks that make contact with it. Deva getting hit by his own ST will be opening enough for Itachi to kill him. There's always Gedo Mazo though to wear Itachi down but its definitely not set in stone....I'm gonna go with draw since Deva wins with CT but Itachi wins if he genjutsu's Deva before CT.

itachi always and always trap their victim in genjutsu at the start or middle of the battle, the only exception was kabuto.. (because the guy had a nice tricked for that...

Look I'm not underestimating itachi at all, and I'm not hating. Personally I think deva has better chances against him. He's stronger, more chakara, faster, and can control gravity. Some of you are saying he will get caught in genjutsu but he already knows about Itachis attacks so he can avoid it by not making eye contact, similar to how guy fights. And seriously itachi loses when CT is used. And totsuka blade can be dodged so that's not that big of an issue. Seriously some of you need to think about what your saying with all due respect. Deva takes this high diff most of the time. Depending of the circumstances itachi may win, but on average I give it to deva.

First off..my fav char in the manga is itachi hands down. 2nd I like how everyone who says itachi pwns deva has a Uchiha portrait if not an itachi portrait...3rd as high level as a shinobi itachi is he is not a god so please don't make him out to be unbeatable it only makes you look retarded (sorry to those that are offended by that word). Amaretsu isn't a factor with shinra tensei, Susananoo isn't a facter either...even if he can't be pulled out of it he could still be blown away like a dollar bill in a parking lot on a windy day. Totsuka blade has never been shown to swing at the speed of light and until that fact is proven in the manga it most likely could be dodged as there are many other higher speed attacks we've seen. I don't even believe Itachi would have time to get Susanoo up before he's blow the the hell away. Lastly we come to Genjutsu..the type of jutsu that could screw anyone...however last time i checked deva didnt require visual contact to use Shinra or CT...izanami takes too much time to prepare to be viable in this matchup. Now I'm not saying Itachi couldn't pull a victory out of his ass..this is a fictional work after all but what i'm saying is that the batttle would most likely go like this.

I'd love to make my fav char look good in this matchup as it's itachi. but Pein knows of the uchicha, knows of Itachi, and knows of Genjustu, and yes..anyone can fight with their eyes close it's just that 99.9% of them would die a fast death. Deva does not need to see to push or pull anything in a 360 area away or to him. the only way i see itachi trapping him in a visual genjutsu is if Deva path wasn't expecting a fight...lets just say they were having a regular joe schmoe convo and itachi just started attacking..

Itachi needed help to destroy a miniature version of Chibaku Tensei, I doubt he could hold his own against the larger version.

Not possible. Chibaku Tensei is a special attack. It pulls and traps the enemy. If Itachi could repel it, he would have done it.
