Madara is 1.79 meters tall and 20 px.

Which would scale the 46.8 px red line to 4.19 meters.

You must be registered for see images

The red line in this picture is 31.1 px and 4.19 meters.

Which scales the 83 px bijuudama to 11.2 meters.

You must be registered for see images

The bijuudama is 74 px and 11.2 meters wide.

Which scales the top of the Rashomon gate to 33.8 meters wide.

You must be registered for see images

The gates in this picture are 22.4 px wide and is 33.8 meters wide.

Which scales the 194.5 px starting width of the path to 293.5 meters.

You must be registered for see images

The end of the path is 1 px and is 293.5 meters.

Which scales the 61 px Bijuudama explosion to 17903.09 meters long.

Now I have to get the distance between the point of view to the explosion.

You must be registered for see images

The bijuudama is 61 px and the panel height is 737 px.

2*atan(61/(737/tan(70/2))) = 6.6337 degrees

The distance from the point of view to the bijuudama is 154460 meters.

Now I have to get the time frame of how long it took to reach that point.

The bijuudama is 74 px and 11.2 meters wide.

Which scales the 273 px distance between the bijuudama and the ground to 41.31891892 meters.

t = sqrt(2*distance/gravity)

t = sqrt(2*41.31891892/9.8)

t = 2.9038 seconds

154460 meters/2.9038 seconds = 53191.2 meters per second

53191.2/340 = Mach 156.4

Madara's Perfect Susanoo sword travels at 156 times faster than the speed of sound.

Damn that is faster than any moving object on earth.

As much as I like that Susano'o sword speed, this isn't something that can be used in a debate. I like your work and all, but you guys will have to realize that you can't really calculate manga scans created by Kishi considering that the guy doesn't pay attention to this stuff at all.

However, you did indeed do a good job. Nice thread.

Fail calculation.. how can you use the verticle calculation of the page when the TBB/Sword is moving diagnally into the distance which can't be measured since it is an image... Stop with these wank threads XD

Only on NB

No. That's not what I mean. Kishi doesn't pay attention to size and etc. at all. The guy supposedly shrinked Kurama in half and yet in the latest chapters, the fifty percent Kurama happens to be as big as the one hundred percent Kurama.

That just shows you that the guy doesn't pay attention to this stuff at all and I don't wish to rely on these calculations at all. However, if you wish to debate with these calculations then feel free to do so. It's not like I can stop you from doing so.

Yeah, that isn't even my point either, I know kishi doesn't overlook them, it's done for the people who debate, seemingly, u can't legitmatly tell how fast a different character is from another to an exact point, that's why it's scaled, to coherently deter speed among characters, and moreover, if ur debating crossover wise. Since this forum doesn't even fukin allow it in the first place, I wouldn't be surprised.

Yes. I agree. These calculations can be used in a crossover match up. =P

im not sure how you caculate that as a sword swing when it was clearly launched by kurama like a normal TBB which by itself is proportionate to its size and the power used from propulsion from kurama's mouth.

Nice though I don't think we can measure the speed of swing like this...............

Updating the calc here because NB won't let me edit my stinking post.

Panel Height = 737 px
Panel Width = 471 px

H = 2*atan(tan(70/2)*(Width/Height))

H = 2*atan(tan(70/2)*(471/737)) = 48.2

Object Degree size = 2*atan(Object Size/(Panel Height/tan(H/2)))

Bijuudama = 61 px
Panel Height = 737 px
H = 48.2

Object Degree size = 2*atan(61/(737/tan(48.2/2))) = 4.24 degrees

Object Degree = 4.24 degrees
Bijuudama = 17903.09 meters wide

Angular distance calculator gives 244120 meter distance.

You must be registered for see images

Bijuudama = 74 px and 11.2 meters wide
Height = 273 px

(273/74)*11.2 = 41.3 meter height

To find the speed, we use the projectile motion calculator.

Height = 41.3 meters
Distance = 244120 meters

First input 41.3 into the Y coordinate.

What we want to find is a 244120 meter distance.

Input 84129.40963 m/s to get the 244120 meter distance.

84129.40963 m/s = Mach 247

Problem?

Um, this calc is for Bijuu Dama, not PS sword swing.
