Trunks carefully listens to his teacher's instructions and nods in confirmation once he is done speaking. He watches in awe as Dean summons a very large amount of water to the training grounds. Without hesitation, Trunks jumps up and into the body of water. Once he is inside, he swims down to the bottom of the pool, and channels his suiton chakra. Trunks then forces the chakra out of the release points in his feet, and slowly begins to propel forward. To pick up speed, Trunks forces more chakra out through his feet, and with this makes it to the end of the water with relative ease and moderate speed.
Once he is done with this, Trunks jumps out of the water and prepares to take on the clone. As the clone begins to run, Trunks begins to concentrate his suiton chakra once more. He channels it so that he may release it through his mouth with ease. Once the clone is within range, Trunks uses nature manipulation and converts his chakra into a water gun, which rips out of Trunks' mouth at great speeds. It quickly reaches the clone and blows him back a few meters before he disperses.
The first technique is very simple and straightforward. It helps you move underwater both quickly and efficiently. Because of this, this technique would be great to avoid other techniques. I can't really see this being used offensively, unless you were to use this as a springboard for another technique if you will. I will have to choose wisely when I use this though, because in some situations, it might be better to swim and reserve chakra. Also, even though my movements are mostly hidden to the average eye, doujutsu users and sensors would still be able to pick up on me.
As for the second technique, I like it a lot. You know me, always commenting on the speed of the techniques, and this one is quick. Very quick. And because it comes with no hand seals or anything like that, there is no indication that this technique is coming, so you have to be watching and prepared to do anything about it. I'm not so sure that I am in love with how linear this technique is though. It goes mostly straight, so my opponent would be able to avoid it by going any direction
