[Raiton] Detective L and Orochimaru investigates the power of Lightning.

[Lord Orochimaru]

After getting on the top of the cliff, Itachi performs the Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped handseals and then releases Raiton chakra by manipulating it in the form of electric waves. This creates cracks inside the rocks of the cliff and starts a landslide that makes sure that the clone of Dean is dead by the rubble.

Advantages: Maybe used for other cases like blocking the mouth of a cave. And, cracking any rock structure.

Disadvantages: Situation based.

Will use it on a cliff or as I said in advantage.

Descripton: By forming hand seals Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together when near a cliff , the user causes stone and rock to become dislodged and rain down on anyone below it by releasing a wave of electrical energy which weakens the rock and makes it fall as it crumbles. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.

"Next technique, starts off by raising your hand in front of you, like a sword. You will then focus your Lightning based chakra into your hand that is outstretched, causing it to glow in a yellow shine. You will then release bolts of Lightning which look like a horn, and spreads outwards. This is capable of attacking multiple targets. Use it against my clone."

[Lord Orochimaru]

Itachi raises his right hand and then channels lightning chakra in that hand focusing it to make his hand shine yellow. Then he creates many bolts of horn shaped lightning that attacks all the clones of Dean simultaneously.

Advantages: Many people can be attacked at the same time..

Disadvantages: Yellow colour is not as cool as blue.

Usage: When many opponents attack from many directions.

Description: The user will raise their hand infront of them like a sword. It will begin glowing in a pale yellow before releasing bolts of lightning in the shape of a horn that spread outwards, allowing it to attack multiple targets.

"Now, for the next technique, you would need a sword. You will channel your Lightning chakra into your sword, which increases its cutting capabilities. Other than that, you will then cause your sword to levitate in front of you, and using your Lightning chakra, you will create two physical copies of your sword. You will then manipulate all three swords (the original, and the two you just created) to spin rapidly, and fly towards the opponent in an attempt to cut them. Due to you controlling the swords via hand gestures, no other techniques can be used while you are busy controlling the swords. Use it against my clone."

Itachi pulls out his sword quickly and then channels lightning chakra into it. Then he manipulates it such that the sword fliess in front of him. Then, he creates two copies of the sword and controlls them with his lightning chakra to make them spin fast and attack the clone of Dean. He, then manipulates all the swords to cut the clone.

Advantages: Cannot be dodged easily and will have huge damage.

Disadvantages: If, someone else attacks me, i am dead. My hands are blocked.

Will, use it always in a solo fight..........I Like this one.

"If you say something cannot be dodged easily, expand a bit upon that. Add more to your advantages and disadvantages, or expand a bit on them. Anyway, here you go."

Description: The user will channel their lightning chakra into their sword to increase its cutting capabilities, and then levitate it in front of them. They will then multiply the sword creating two extra physical copies which are then all manipulated to spin rapidly and are controlled to fly towards and cut through the opponent/s through hand gestures. While controlling the weapons, the user cannot mold chakra for other techniques and needs to keep focus.

"Now, for the last C rank technique. Manipulate your Lightning chakra to your dominant hand, which would cause electrical bolts of Lightning to form around your forearm. You will then slam your palm onto the ground, and cause the Lightning to be discharged, from your dominant hand, into the ground in an omni-directional manner. This sends bolts of Lightning al around you, for up to 5 meters (short range). Nice to deal with incoming opponents, but can also be easily dodged as well. Use it against my clone."

[Lord Orochimaru]

Itachi transports lightning chakra into his right arm and then manipulates it to form bolts of lightning around his hand. Then he slams his hand in the ground discharging the lightning all around himself, causing the clone to turn into smoke.

Advantages: Can be used to defend against multiple targets.

Disadvantages: Short range (Really should've been long) , and anyone can just jump.

Usage: Against snakes running to me from Oro until I make my own Oro bio.

"Now, I want you to use any of the Lightning techniques that you have learned, in a combination against two clones of mine, so I can see if you use them correctly. You can combine these Lightning techniques with anything else, that you know and use it in a combination."

[Lord Orochimaru]

Itachi creates suiton chakra and channels it to his lungs from which he exhales it in the form of a stream of water rushing towards the clones. At the same time he molds lightning chakra which he transports to his right hand and then releases a powerful stream of lightning towards the stream of water which conducts the wave of electricity, thus giving the clones a severe shock.

[Lord Orochimaru]

Itachi molds suiton chakra and then releases it from his hands in the form of a water stream by manipulating his chakra. Just after releasing the water stream, Itachi molds lightning chakra in his body and then releases a powerful wave of lightning towards the opponent. The lightning being faster than the water stream reaches the opponent at the same time and the damage of the lightning is increased by the conducting water thus severely shocking the opponent.

"Its not really correct now either. After releasing the stream of Water, you can just fire the Lightning technique into the water and electrify it. But I guess you got the gist of it. We'll move on.

Now for the first B rank technique. You will form the Ox hand seal and hold your hands out. This generates a wall of Lightning before you, which is used to shock opponents who try and come close, but also destroy some Earthen projectiles. Its also fast, so it works well to deliver some shocks. Easy technique, use it against a clone of mine."

[Lord Orochimaru]

Itachi performs the Ox seal and then stretches his arms outwards releasing Lightning chakra in front of him and creating a wall of lightning that the Running clone of Dean runs into and shocks itself turning into smoke.

Advantages: Fast. Good for defending against earthen projectiles and running people. {Question: Is the wall invisible such that the opponent does not understand ???}

Disadvantages: If someone throws a stream of water, then I may myself get electrocuted. Hands are busy, cannot do any more jutsus after this one as long as I need the wall. Vulnerable from backwards.

Usage: For incoming running people and nothing else.

Description: The user manipulates their chakra while doing the Ox hand seal and then releases it in front of him whilst holding their hands out. By doing this, the user generates a wall of lightning energy that can defend against certain techniques. The user can use this defence to shock enemy targets who attempt close range combat and deliver massive shocks to anything that comes in contact with it.

"Next, we have a similar technique. Without the need for hand seals, you will manipulate your Lightning based chakra, to create a half dome shape before you. Through force, you will "push" this Lightning towards an incoming opponent. If it hits, its capable of shocking, paralyzing and even, physical momentum. This means, it can push back the opponent as well, because of the force. Use it against my clone."

[Lord Orochimaru]

Itachi molds lightning chakra and then releases it in front of him and then manipulates it into the form of a half dome shape. Then he pushes it in the forward direction which in contact with the clone pushes it back and severely shocks it thus turning it into smoke, *poof*

Advantages: No handseals,i.e. fast, and can be used in defensive purposes too. Has paralysing effect. Both defensive and offensive.

Disadvantages: Opponent can dodge easily by jumping sideways and it has no use if I am attacked from behind.

Will use it against earth attacks and incoming opponents.

"Good, remember, you can't just "jump sideways" to evade a technique. Always use a jutsu against a jutsu. Here you go."

Description: The user creates a half shaped dome of lightning that can be pushed forward in a similar way to a "wave of lightning" attack. It has both paralyzing and shocking properties as well as physical momentum.

"For the next one, a more Taijutsu oriented one. You will gather your Lightning chakra in your dominant hand, and generate a sphere of Lightning around it. You will then punch the opponent with this, unleashing the Lightning as you do so. A nice technique, and can even be used to destroy stationary walls of Earth, for example. Use it against my clone."

[Lord Orochimaru]

As Dean's clone runs towardsitachi, he molds lightning chakra and channels it to his right hand and then manipulates the chakra to form a sphere around his right arm. He then throws a punch toward the clone and unleashes the lightning in his fist, destroying the clone.

Advantages: Increases the Taijutsu destruction power. No handseals, very fast, great for immediate defenses.

Disadvatages: Cannot use handseals or any other jutsu as hands are blocked. Only good for close combat not long-range ones.

I will use it always in Hand to hand combat.

"Now for the next technique, raise either your hand or a weapon up, and send an electrical discharge into the sky. This allows you to create a several Lightning discharges to be released at a specific spot. A fast and nice technique, since you can easily target an opponent that's pretty far from you. Also a way of getting the opponent to defend from above, whilst you attack from below, for example. Use it against my clone."

Itachi raises his right hand and then releases lightning chakra from his hand manipulating it in the form of electrical discharge to the sky. Then he creates meany lightning strikes from above the clone destroying it.

Advantages: Long Range, Attack from above, Can be used as a distraction. Opponent can be easily targeted. Can be done fast.

Disadvantages: Cannot attack multiple targets simultaneously.

I will use it in long range fights and in conjunction with a huge amount of water stream that will increase accuracy and damage.

Description: The user will raise his hand or a weapon and send an electrical discharge into the clouds, allowing them to create lightning strikes in the desired location. The discharges are triggered right after the technique and cannot be delayed or prepared before hand but are quite fast.

"Next, form the Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare hand seals, and manipulate your Lightning based chakra. You will then release it into the ground, and use the electrical charge to forcefully cause four pillars of Earth to rise all around the opponent. These pillars are electrically charged, and releases its Lightning inwards, towards the opponent from all around. This shocks and paralyzes the opponent. A nice technique, with a far reach. Use it against my clone."
